亞馬遜稱已增加航運貨櫃處理能力一倍 預備節假季
美國電商巨擘亞馬遜(Amazon.com)(AMZN.US)在公司網站發表博文,向購物者及業界保證,已就今年節假季供應鏈面臨的挑戰作好準備,又稱今年就庫存計劃增加投資及與供應商合作,以確保有足夠貨品,同時確保向所需地區配送。公司亦增加進口港口及與更多航運公司合作,以取得關鍵港口的空間,增加航運貨櫃處理能力一倍。
供應鏈緊張、通脹壓力及勞工短缺等,均使美國零售商面臨極具挑戰性的節假季。專家警告或出現沒有庫存、付運時間延長及減少購買的情況,不少零售商亦已呼籲顧客提早節假季購物以免出現混亂。
