去年9月美新澤西州車禍釀3死 特斯拉(TSLA.US)遭入稟索償
美國電動車生產商特斯拉(TSLA.US)被入稟索償,涉及去年9月於美國新澤西州的致命交通意外。案件涉及搭載自動輔助駕駛(Autopilot)和全自動輔助駕駛(Full Self-Driving)功能的2024年Model S,車上一對54歲夫婦及其17歲女兒死亡。
入稟狀指涉事車輛「有缺陷且不合理危險的設計」,導致車輛偏離行駛車道,且未能啟動緊急剎車,導致事故發生。又指特斯拉未能警告駕駛者不安全。案中3名死者事發時均繫上安全帶。入稟狀尋求未具體說明金額的補償性和懲罰性賠償。根媒體報道,涉事Model S偏離道路,撞上路標、護欄和混凝土橋柱。
特斯拉曾表示,其輔助駕駛功能為「完全專注」的駕駛者設計,駕駛者需雙手握方向,且有關功能目前不會使車輛實現完全自主駕駛。
