加拿大現財年軍事支出相等GDP比率將提升至2% 提早五年達標
加拿大總理卡尼表示,該國將增加軍費開支,於現財年達到軍事開支相等國內生產總值(GDP)2%水平,較原來承諾提早五年達標。
加拿大計劃現財年增加90億加元(65.8億美元)軍事支出,用於增聘軍人、維修設備及推動防衛關係。就財赤下如何增加軍費問題,卡尼稱將透過削減開支及排除減稅的可能性來實現。
卡尼又表示,該國需要更換過時設備並減少在軍事上對美國的依賴,重申承諾與歐洲國防產業更緊密工作。
