澳門財政司:新賭牌公司須兌現承諾拓非博彩元素 冀形成綜合旅遊休閒中心改賭城形象
《澳門日報》報道,澳門特區經濟財政司司長李偉農表示,明年新取得幸運博彩經營權的承批公司須開始兌現競投承諾,政府亦將結合本澳的文化底蘊與旅遊資源,深入發掘非博彩元素的潛力。
他補充,是次賭牌競投是銳意發展非博彩元素,目的是形成新產業板塊,博彩、非博彩兩大產業板塊合力以提升澳門的競爭力,改變澳門賭城形象,形成綜合旅遊休閒中心。否則長遠澳門客源單一癥結難解,亦難與國際市場競爭。
此外,他認爲未來十年將是澳門轉折點,只有做好非博彩元素才能鞏固澳門「一中心」的定位。又指拉斯維加斯發展某程度令舊區出現凋零,但澳門政府未來希望採取「以大帶小」、「互相促進」方向促進產業和社會健康發展。
