零售協會:料4月人流回復正常 惟業界對市況未感樂觀
本港2月零售業總銷貨值按年跌14.6%遜預期,香港零售管理協會主席謝邱安儀表示,自3月中旬以來,市面人流開始有所改善,惟不代表零售商生意有所好轉。隨疫情緩和下來,預料4月本港市面人流將會回覆正常。雖然港府4月會派發消費券,但零售商對市道不太樂觀,認爲生意只會回到「中等」水平。
她指,2月和3月零售市道相若,防疫用品、個人護理及藥物零售商料生意有所增長;電器及化妝品零售商預計生意有兩成跌幅,時裝、百貨及珠寶商預料生意更有四至六成跌幅。
在減租方面,她指,不足10%業主提供廣泛性寬減租金措施,另有43%業主提供寬減租金措施,其餘業主未有提供任何租金支援措施。對於政府立法暫緩追租,她表示認同,但重申零售商願意準時交租。(ca/s)
