金管局:全球經濟復甦不同步致貨幣政策背馳 或爲新興市場經濟體帶來風險
金管局於《貨幣與金融穩定情況半年度報告》中指,全球經濟正從深度衰退中反彈,但主要由於政策支援及疫苗接種程度不同,各地復甦步伐極其參差,其中主要先進經濟體的復甦普遍領先新興市場經濟體。全球經濟復甦不同步、以至由此引致的貨幣政策背馳,或會爲新興市場經濟體帶來貨幣狀況過早收緊的風險。
港元維持在兌換保證範圍的強方,交易繼續暢順有序。存款總額於回顧期內溫和增長,並沒有跡象顯示有大量資金流出本港銀行體系。銀行貸款總額在同期以顯着步伐恢復擴張,而住宅物業市場自年初以來已重拾一些上升動力。
報告指,展望未來,經濟復甦的步伐和幅度仍將視乎隨後的疫情發展而存在不確定性。加上主要經濟體未來貨幣政策的步伐和方向存在變數,以及中美關係持續緊張可能影響營商環境,這些風險因素將繼續對香港銀行業構成挑戰。銀行應保持警惕並仔細評估相關風險因素對其貸款組合資產質素的潛在影響。
