欧金融业指场外证券交易占少数 忧虑交易规则检讨偏袒证交所
欧盟正检讨其证券及债券交易规则(MiFID II),欧洲证券及市场管理局(ESMA)估计欧洲近半证券交易於场外进行,引发区内证券交易所要求收紧场外交易规管。
不过,《路透》报道,代表银行及投资公司的欧洲金融市场协会(AFME)指,协会与顾问机构Oxera进行研究显示,欧洲83%证券交易在证券交易所等具透明度地点进行,仅17%证券交易在银行同业或场外平台进行。协会认为,结果显示ESMA使用不正确数据制定政策,可能导致证券交易所保持证券交易中的垄断地位。
另外,欧洲过往大量的场外证券交易於英国进行。不过,英国自去年12月30日脱离欧盟,导致大量相关交易转向阿姆斯特丹,使当地成为欧洲最大证券交易中心。Oxera报告指,英国在欧洲整体证券交易活动占比,由去年首季的约40%降至今年首季的约20%。
