世卫称未有证据显示变种新冠病毒导致更高重症及死亡率 疫苗仍然有效
英国近日报告发现变种新型冠状病毒株,传播力高七成。世界卫生组织总干事谭德塞表示,虽然英国报告称变种病毒株更加易於传播,但目前没有证据显示新病毒株导致更高的重症率、死亡率。世卫又认为现时疫情未有失控,当局正进行检查,确保疫苗够应对变种病毒株。
世卫卫生紧急项目技术主管Maria Van Kerkhove表示,目前掌握的情况显示,英国出现的病毒变种传播性更强,病毒基本再生数由1.1提高到1.5,但病人症状、重症率、死亡率基本没有变化,目前研发的疫苗仍然有效。
