特斯拉(TSLA.US)試圖阻止美國德州奧斯汀市政府向傳媒公開有關其無人駕駛的士(Robotaxi)項目相關資料。特斯拉計劃本月內在奧斯汀公路上推出收費的自動駕駛出租車服務。
《路透社》早於2月根據資訊自由法向奧斯汀官員要求分享與特斯拉在過去兩年的通訊紀錄。奧斯汀市官員其後直言有第三方要求保密,並需要保障私隱與商業利益。特斯拉律師於4月16日去信反對公開文件,稱當中包含機密、專利及商業敏感資訊,若公開將會對特斯拉造成無法彌補的損害,包括其無人車部署流程與策略。
