外匯基金上月總資產減少57億元
金管局公布,截至4月30日,外匯基金總資產為39,732億元,較3月底減少57億元,其中外幣資產減少211億元,港元資產則增加154億元。
當局指,外幣資產減少,主要是因為提取財政儲備存款,但有關減幅因已購入但未結算證券的月底餘額增加及來自投資的利息收入而被部分抵銷。港元資產增加,主要是因為銀行存款增加,但有關增幅因香港股票按市價重估而被部分抵銷。
貨幣發行局帳目顯示,4月底的貨幣基礎為19,828億元,較3月底增加56億元,增幅為0.3%。貨幣基礎增加,主要是由於已發行外匯基金票據及債券的折價攤銷及負債證明書總額增加。
4月底的支持資產總額增加77億元至21,934億元,增幅為0.4%。支持資產增加,主要是因為來自投資的利息收入及發行負債證明書,但有關增幅因投資按市價重估而被部分抵銷。支持比率由3月底的110.55%,上升至4月底的110.62%。
