匯豐向277名香港學生發獎學金 近年約17%獎學金得主投身金融業
匯豐於昨天(9日)舉行「匯豐智庫日」頒發獎學金,嘉許277名來自全港20家大學及高等院校的學生。自1965年至今近7,000名學生成為「匯豐學人」。
該行指,透過不同獎學金計劃支持香港學生升學或拓展事業,至今資助總額超過2.62億元。近年約17%的「匯豐學人」選擇投身金融行業,當中包括加入匯豐。
匯豐香港區行政總裁林慧虹表示,香港缺乏天然資源,但人均本地生產總值在亞洲區數一數二,可見其成功的關鍵來自人才。這個優勢將來能否持續,取決於培育和吸納人才的能力。
