更貴了!蘋果對美區首次上調Apple Music等訂閱服務漲價:因版權成本上漲

當地時間週一(10月24日),蘋果公司提高了其流媒體服務Apple TV+和Apple Music在美國地區的訂閱費用,即日生效。這是該公司首次上調流媒體服務價格。

消息刺激下,音樂流媒體巨頭Spotify的股價直線飆升,一度升超9%,爲近三個月來最大單日漲幅,最終收漲6.72%,報94.66美元/股。此外,華納音樂也由盤初的跌超5%一度轉漲近15%,嘴周漲超8%,報25.81美元/股。

蘋果官網顯示,蘋果將Apple Music的個人訂閱費用從9.99美元/月上調至10.99美元/月,調價後,這一價格超過了Spotify和亞馬遜的同類競品;將Apple TV+的個人月費從4.99美元上調至6.99美元,上調後的價格依舊低於其他流媒體諸如Disney+和奈飛的訂閱費;將Apple One(Apple Music和Apple TV等服務的捆綁包)個人月費起價從14.95美元提高到16.95美元。

蘋果發表聲明稱,Apple Music漲價是因爲授權成本增加,相應地,藝術家和詞曲作者也將從他們的音樂流媒體中獲得更多收入。

至於Apple TV+的漲價原因,蘋果表示,該服務最初問世時的價格非常低,因爲當時用戶只能看少數電影和電視劇,但如今Apple TV+已經彙集了衆多廣受好評且獲獎的劇集、故事片、紀錄片以及兒童和家庭娛樂節目。

有評論稱,流媒體訂閱服務漲價已經是不爭的事實。在蘋果行動前,今年奈飛、迪士尼旗下平臺迪士尼+和Hulu都漲了價。漲價反過來又導致用戶對價格較低的含廣告服務重新產生興趣。今年迪士尼+和奈飛都將推出收費更低的含廣告套餐。Apple TV+是唯一無廣告播放的主要流媒體視頻服務。

Q4業績能否再顯韌性?

在科技公司財報季拉開帷幕之後,蘋果毋庸置疑將成爲市場最關注的焦點。

美東時間10月27日蘋果將公佈第四財季業績,華爾街分析師們目前普遍預計,蘋果第四財季營收爲888億美元,上年同期爲834億美元;預計每股收益爲1.27美元,上年同期每股收益爲1.24美元。

值得一提的是,在一份給投資者的說明中,來自摩根大通的分析師預測蘋果收入爲 900 億美元。這超過了目前華爾街對該季度 886 億美元預期。蘋果在 2021 年第四財季的收入爲 834 億美元。摩根大通還預計,同期的每股收益爲 1.31 美元,而預期是 1.26 美元。

摩根士丹利分析師Erik Woodring表示,他認爲蘋果即將公佈的業績將超過預期。他估計,蘋果第四財季的營收將達到901億美元,iPhone出貨量將達到5110萬部。

雖然月初IDC發佈的數據顯示,蘋果是唯一一家第三季度銷售額同比增長的大型個人電腦公司,但分析師表示,目前電腦硬件銷售狀況令人擔憂,他“不相信蘋果的業績會平息投資者對硬件市場低迷的擔憂。”

除了第四財季的業績之外,值得投資者關注的是蘋果對2022年最後三個月的業績指引。2022年最後三個月包含聖誕節和假日購物季,也是蘋果每年銷售額最高的一個季度。這段時間將成爲iPhone 14系列手機真正開始銷售的時間,並可能爲消費者明年如何接受這款最新iPhone定下基調。
