匯豐銀行上調最優惠利率0.125% 香港進入加息週期
格隆匯9月22日丨匯豐銀行(0005.HK)宣佈,由明日即週五9月23日起,上調港元最優惠利率(P)0.125%,由年利率5%調高至5.125%,少於外界預計的加0.25%。本次是匯豐自2018年9月以來首次加最優惠利率,當年同樣加息0.125%。匯豐對上一次調整最優惠利率,則是在2019年11月1日,當時減息12.5基點。
市場預期,匯豐加息後,其他香港銀行亦會一同調高P,標誌香港港進入加息週期。以目前市面較常見的樓按利息上限“P-2.5”(P按)計,匯豐加P後,實際供樓利率將提高至2.625%。
另外,匯豐給予港元儲蓄存款戶口的利率亦調高12.4點子至0.125%。匯豐對上一次調整儲蓄存款戶口利率,是在2019年11月1日,當時減息12.4基點。
