陳茂波:逾500萬市民收到第二期消費券 因應形勢會否加碼
財政司司長陳茂波發表網誌表示,500多萬名市民收到第二期電子消費券,市面上消費氣氛暢旺,希望電子消費券能爲市道帶來樂觀的氣氛,讓市民和企業對未來經濟持正面預期,這也是經濟可持續復甦的動力之一。而土地房屋是本港社會發展中最尖銳的矛盾,對市民生活構成最大壓力,必須投入最大的力量去破解和應對。
此外,他接受傳媒訪問時透露,今次是政府首次推行電子消費券,達到提振經濟的預期效果,部分市民可能到今年底、明年初才能領取最後一期金額,屆時會再檢視成效,因應當時的經濟形勢再作決定是否「加碼」。
