美联储副主席重申维持零息 直至通胀达标及劳工市场健康
美联储副主席克拉里达表示,美国经济在新冠疫情下强劲反弹,但距经济全面恢复至疫情之前仍有漫漫长路。他指疫情使美国经济跌入深渊,即使近期情况改善,前景仍不寻常地不确定。美联储将维持接近零息,直至通胀升至2%目标及有迹象显示劳工市场健康。
克拉里达亦表示,加息与否将按经济情况,不会按时间决定。他重申,在美国经济复苏期间,需要更多货币及财政政策支援,美联储会继续做份内事,动用所有工具支持经济,使经济复苏尽可能强劲及急速。
