猫眼娱乐首次盈利:上半年净利3.8亿元 广告收入大增

猫眼娱乐发布了上市后的第一份半年报,2019年上半年经调整净利为3.804亿元,实现首次盈利。
8月15日晚间,猫眼娱乐(01896.HK)发布了2019年上半年业绩。报告期内,实现营收19.846亿元(人民币,单位下同),同比(较上年同期)增长4.7%;毛利约11.87亿元,同比增长0.1%;期内净利约2.57亿元,去年同期亏损2.31亿元;经调整EBITDA约5.12亿元,而2018年上半年则为-6420万元;经调整净利3.804亿元,而2018年上半年则为经调整亏损净额2060万元。
官网资料显示,猫眼娱乐提供在线娱乐票务服务、娱乐内容服务、娱乐电商服务、广告服务及其他,于2019年2月4日正式在香港联交所主板挂牌上市。
值得注意的是,2019年上半年,猫眼娱乐的广告服务及其他收入取得了大幅提高,比去年同期增长78.1%至1.564亿元,主要是由于认可公司广告解决方案效率的广告商数量增加。据了解,猫眼上半年为通用汽车、百胜集团、京东等多家知名品牌提供了娱乐整合营销服务。
然而,在线娱乐票务业务所得收益同比减少5.7%至10.83亿元,公告解释道,该减少主要是由于2019年上半年中国综合票房以及观影人次较2018年上半年有所减少。公告显示,2019上半年,中国总票房为311.7亿元,同比下降2.7%,观影人次为8.08亿,同比减少10.3%。
值得注意的是,报告期内,猫眼主控发行的影片票房达到41亿元。2019年上半年,猫眼娱乐以联合出品方或主控发行方的身份参与了《来电狂响》、《白蛇•缘起》、《飞驰人生》、《熊出没•原始时代》、《反贪风暴4》及《最好的我们》等影片。此外,除了电影,猫眼也积极拓展剧集业务,由猫眼联合出品的《长安十二时辰》是2019年上半年热度最高的网生剧集之一。
娱乐内容服务所得收益则同比增加18.7%至6.66亿元,主要由于电影宣发及出品业务不断扩展,反映了业内对强大内容服务平台的日益认可,这使得公司有更多机会参与电影并取得商业成功以及承担主要角色。
此外,娱乐电商服务所得收益减少19.2%至7950万元,主要是由于食品和饮料销售因2019年上半年中国综合票房以及观影人次较2018年上半年有所减少而减少。
今年3月,在猫眼娱乐上市后不久,就投资了徐峥和宁浩创立的欢喜传媒。3月13日,猫眼娱乐与欢喜传媒(01003.HK)宣布达成战略合作,猫眼将投入3.9亿港元(约合3.327亿元人民币),以每股1.65港元的价格认购欢喜传媒2.36亿股股份,占欢喜传媒已发行总股本的8.11%,占经认购事项扩大后已发行股本总数的7.5%。
就在发布中期业绩报告的同一天,8月15日,猫眼娱乐尾盘一度涨16.5%至13.16港元,最终收盘报12.62港元/股,较上一交易日上涨11.68%。
