瑞士信貸的救助方案被瑞士議會否決
瑞士議會週三否決了政府爲瑞士信貸與瑞銀合併提供的1,090億瑞士法郎(1,208.2億美元) 援助，導致這家倒閉的銀行倉促安排的救助計劃基本上沒有獲得議會的象徵性批準。
雖然上議院已批準政府對救助計劃的貢獻，但下議院和更大的議院在週三再次推遲。

爲了尋求妥協，上議院於週三上午通過了對該措施的修改，但這不足以影響下議院立法者。
他們以103票對71票贊成的結果否決了它，與前一天晚上的反對水平相似。
就在下議院投票之前，社會民主黨聯合主席塞德里克·韋爾穆特表示，該黨無法支持這筆資金。
雖然政府利用緊急狀態法做出的承諾無法推翻，但這次投票標誌着對當局的譴責，當局在很大程度上繞過國家立法的決定激怒了許多政客。
“這一決定對3月19日決定收購瑞士信貸沒有影響，”瑞士財政部在表決後表示。
它說，由於事情的緊迫性，該支持方案已經獲得議會財政代表團的約束性批準。

支持批準該交易的立法者表達了對瑞士形象的擔憂。

在以該國四種民族語言進行了一天的激烈辯論之後，辯論一直持續到清晨，上議院通過了旨在贏得懷疑者支持的改革。
其中包括一項建議，要求瑞士聯邦政府起草對該國銀行法的修正案。其目標是通過提高資本要求和限制獎金等方式降低系統相關銀行（例如瑞士信貸和瑞士聯合銀行）帶來的風險。
週三投票前，財政部長卡琳·凱勒薩特在議會發表講話時告訴議員們，要考慮他們拒絕救助計劃會向世界發出什麼信息。
“你想在國際上發出什麼信號，這些機構是否可靠，在你已經擁有具有一定重要性的金融中心的地方，你是否重視金融市場的穩定？”
