新威斯顿(08242.HK)公布,以350万元出售直接全资附属Excellence Steps,料出售事项录1,410万元亏损。该附属公司实益拥有的马来西亚物业,即六个服务式公寓单位,总建筑面积为1.2万平方尺,位於名为MM Residency的发展项目中2B座,其位於Jalan Melawati 1的东北面邻近Jalan G 1,Melawati,
Kuala Lumpur交界处。
公司指,监於出售集团的过往财务状况自收购以来一直录得亏损;该等物业的完成日期不确定;及营运资金为应付集团营运开支的财务需要,董事认为,出售事项为集团提供良好机会实现对出售集团的投资,并将资源专注於发展於内地的现有物业管理业务,以及降低集团的财务承担,减轻集团对持续经营录得亏损出售公司的负担,有望於完成後改善集团的整体流动资金状况和盈利能力。
