新濠国际发展(00200.HK)：终止购入额外6767.5万股Crown Resorts股份
格隆汇2月6日丨新濠国际发展(00200.HK) 宣布，于2020年2月6日，CPH 及新濠博亚娱乐已同意终止根据售股协议购买第二批股份(占 Crown Resorts 已发行股本约9.99%)的责任。由于该终止，尽管新濠博亚娱乐目前持有 6767.5万股 Crown Resorts 股份(占 Crown Resorts 已发行股本约 9.99%)，其将不再收购原先根据售股协议而协定将予收购之额外 6767.5万股 Crown Resorts 股份(亦占 CrownResorts 已发行股本约 9.99%)(即第二批股份)。新濠博亚娱乐现时不拟从目前的水平增持其在 Crown Resorts 的股权。新濠博亚娱乐亦不拟在 Crown Resorts 的董事会中寻求代表席位。
在新濠博亚娱乐向美国证券交易委员会提交的日期为2020年2月6日的表格 6-K中，新濠博亚娱乐宣布，由于冠状病毒流行的影响，包括前往区内综合度假设施的亚洲旅客量急降，以及中国澳门特别行政区政府最近决定澳门所有娱乐场暂时停业，新濠博亚娱乐已决定重新评估将于2020年作出的所有非核心投资。
此项决定反映出新濠博亚娱乐坚守其对雇员、客户、业务夥伴和其他持份者的承诺，并严格履行本身之责任，直至是次对其大部分客户群产生显着影响之全球公共健康危机消退和相关旅游限制解除为止。
新濠博亚娱乐认为其核心营运为其所管理及身为大股东的业务。此包括在澳门、菲律宾和塞浦路斯的营运，以及其为获得在日本经营新濠博亚娱乐拥有的综合度假村之牌照而致力进行的工作。新濠博亚娱乐拟继续在此等司法权区之营运，并进行目前对澳门、马尼拉、塞浦路斯和日本划定的重要投资，包括新濠影滙第二期和 City of Dreams Mediterranean 的建设。在整个亚洲的营运和业务恢复正常之前，新濠博亚娱乐管理层将继续把重点放在新濠博亚娱乐的此等关键领域。
基于上述原因，新濠博亚娱乐决定不继续进行涉及第二批股份之原订澳洲投资计划。新濠博亚娱乐相信，Crown Resorts 拥有与新濠博亚娱乐全球业务相辅相成的世界一流资产，惟当此之时，新濠博亚娱乐相信其资本需要投放在其核心资产上。
