Visa:每两名港人有一人愿试用虚拟银行
Visa发表的报告显示,每两名港人便有一人愿意开立虚拟银行账户,每十人亦有一人表示肯定会开立虚拟银行账户。研究指出,消费者认为虚拟银行好处包括是银行交易手续费较低、拥较实体银行更具竞争力的利率以及较好的用户体验。在不足之处方面,有55%的受访者认为虚拟银行缺乏经营往绩,另外分别有52%及49%的受访者认为虚拟银行缺可信度及实体分行。
Visa香港及澳门区董事总经理史美琪(Maaike Steinebach)认为,Visa的研究显示,消费者除希望获取较低手续费及较佳利率外,不少还期望虚拟银行提供优质的用户体验。现有银行及新晋竞争对手能否成功,关键在於将客户放置首位。
另外,她补充,除虚拟银行试运外,「银行业开放应用程式介面(API)框架」亦是推动金融服务业的竞争创新的关键。 ~
