中国电动车制造商比亚迪(01211.HK)宣布在加拿大开设的首间工厂已经投入服务，主要生产电动巴士，首批10辆电动巴士将交付多伦多运输局。多伦多运输局有选择权再增购另外30辆电动巴士。

该组装厂位於加拿大安大略省，厂房面积为4.5万方尺。
