即日鮮，就是即日買入及賣出而不持倉過夜。一般而言，利用即日鮮計劃的投資者會用盡經紀行提供的貸款額，以極高的槓桿比例謀求最大的利潤，不過由於槓桿比例高，風險亦較大，因此投資者會在當日完成買及賣的動作，以減低隔夜股市波動帶來的不確定性。
